Hitman: Agent 47 with Rupert Friend, Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware and Ciarán Hinds--- Premieres August 28th (USA)

This is an action movie I cannot wait to see and when you view the trailer I am sure you will agree. This movie is a reboot from the video game that is very popular around the world..

This movie begins with Agent 47 (Rupert Friend) who has a bar code on the back of his head with the numbers 640508 040147; and he only answers to 47, which are the last two numbers tattooed on his head. When someone asked for his name he says 47.

47 is the creation involving decades of research including 46 *genetically engineered clones before him. He is a top assassin with unique quickness, power, endurance and intelligence. And, created by ‘The Agent Program’ with the scientist in charge---who is responsible for Agent 47--- played by(Ciarán Hinds).

Agent 47 works for a covert organization; ‘The International Contracts Agency’--- that controls assassinations of prestigious targets.

47 must complete two tasks: first find his creator’s daughter, Katie Van Dees (Hannah Ware) because she can help him to eliminate the influential and illegal enemies that are trying to build an Army of creations like 47 with her information.

Will 47 feel emotions about Katie as they work together?  Is Katie listening to John Smith (Zachary Quinto) that Agent 47 is the key to find her father? Does John Smith have an ulterior-motive? Does 47 or John Smith really cares about Katie’s feelings?

Note: Paul Walker was committed to play Agent 47, but sadly we lost him in 2013. Then Rupert Friend acquired the role of 47, and from the trailer I’ve seen---he is great as Agent 47.

Cut Bank – Liam Hemsworth, Teresa Palmer and Billy Bob Thornton (2015)

Cut Bank Montana’s population is approximately 2,978 qualifying it for a small town where the Rockies meet the Plains. Growing-up in a small town has its good and not so good points. Dwayne McLaren (Liam Hemsworth) wants more than anything to move to a big city leaving the small town mentality flapping in the wind. He is making his living as an auto mechanic, not a fleet mechanic that pays well, but automobiles of the citizens of Cut Bank.

Dwayne is in love with his beautiful blond girlfriend Cassandra Steely (Teresa Palmer) and wants to take her with him to live in a city that never sleeps. And, that has been his dream since he graduated two years ago. However, it takes a lot of money for his dream to come true, so for now he just enjoys being with Cassandra.

Until one day his luck changed while making a video of his girlfriend in a field of flowers. Or, did he make his luck change? Anyway, while videotaping Cassandra someone walked across the field of flowers and shot the mailman in cold blood. Dwayne and Cassandra hid in the flowers, while he kept his camera running---he caught everything on video.

He showed the video of the murder to Sheriff Vogel (John Malkovich) and Big Stan Steely (Billy Bob Thornton) which showed the mail was taken. Maybe someone wanted something the mailman had on his mail truck. And, during the time of this occurrence a guy name Derby Milton (Michael Stuhlbarg) was looking for a package.

Dwayne’s luck is changing because he will get money for his video and everything is looking great. Until, Big Stan Steely tells him---he is on to him because he videotaped a moneymaking crime. And, then Joe Barrett (Oliver Pratt) tells the sheriff they need to see the body. So, where is the body?

This is going to be a good action, mystery thriller and that is how savvy small townspeople are---they see everything, hear everything and tell everything.

National Treasure---Nicolas Cage, Diane Kruger & Justin Bartha

Being an inquisitive boy Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) was found in his grandfather’s attic searching for information about the mystical treasure his family has searched for so many years--- to find it--- and prove it was real.
Ben’s Grandfather John Adams Gates (Christopher Plummer) found him in his attic--- and told him he was undertaking the duty of the “Family Gates” to find--- the most spectacular treasure in history.

Grandfather Gates told Ben the story behind the search---how the treasure grew through the centuries and was moved across continents---until it was hidden by American’s founding fathers ---that left clues for us. It is our duty to find it and protect it, and today I hand this down to you Benjamin.

Years later---Ben still searched for the treasure---as he followed the clues of ten generations---he stayed true to his promise to his grandfather. Ben’s father Patrick Gates (Jon Voight) tells him it is a myth. But Ben has his own belief about the treasure and is determined to find it.

Ben is hired by Ian Howe (Sean Bean) to find the treasure. Ben and his friend Riley Poole (Justin Bartha) joined with Ian and his crew to find the next clue. Since Ben was a boy he was told that "Charlotte" held the secret. But who was Charlotte? Where was Charlotte?

After they found a ship buried deep in the snow---everything went wrong for Ben and Ian. In their conversation Ben is the only smart enough to find the conclusion to all the clues. Ben said the map to the treasure had to be on the back of the Declaration of Independence and that is when Ian said they would steal it.

When Ian said that Ben said "No"---so Ian tried to end their Boss and Employee relationship by killing Ben and Riley---only it did not work out that way. Because Ben and Riley survived to fight another day.

Now they had to protect the Declaration of Independence and they could only do this by stealing it themselves before Ian and his crew steals it. And this is when they meet Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger) who works and protects the Declaration of Independence.

This is there the action, adventure, fun, and romance begins as the three of them team up to find the treasure and protect it and the Declaration of Independence.

This is a great movie I’ve had my copy since 2004 and maybe you will get yours to watch it anytime you like.

Proof of Life with Meg Ryan & Russell Crowe

Meg Ryan plays Alice Bowman who is world-traveled and shrewd. Her shrewd skills keep the determined Alice focus as she tried to help her husband, Peter Bowman who has been kidnapped by South American guerrillas.

Russell Crow plays Terry Thorne the professional negotiator hired by Alice to bargain with the guerrillas. Soon Terry realized he is falling in love with Alice, all the while negotiating for her husband's release.

David Morse play Peter Bowman who is an engineer hired by a company that soon becomes uninsured and can no longer employ Terry Thorne to help secure Peter's release.

However, the guerrillas are asking for millions for his life. Peter is abused and treated inhumanly by his kidnappers, but he is a strong, gritty and intelligent man, who loves his wife very much. And he is trying to stay alive to see her again.

Pamela Reed played Janis Goodman, Peter's sister, who is petrified that she will never see her brother again. But she flies over from America to help her sister-in-law, Alice.

David Caruso plays Dino, Terry's friend who is skilled as a professional negotiator, also. He is aware of the chemistry happening between Alice and Terry, just by being around them.

This is a suspenseful and romantically charged movie, just writing about it makes me want to watch my DVD of Proof of Life again.

Proof of Life was made in 2000, and filmed in:
Biedrusko, Poznan, Wielkopolskie, Poland, Ecuador, Lloyd's Building, Lime Street, Broadgate, London, England, UK, , Quito, Ecuador.
