S.W.A.T. with L.L. Cool J, Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell & Michelle Rodriguez

The S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons And Tactics) team is sent to The Valley Trust Bank where shots were fired; they encountered a robbery gone badly with hostages inside.

And, an ongoing gun battle in front of the bank with the robbers positioned by the get-away car. S.W.A.T. members are placed on top of the building to enter from the ceiling. Jim Street (Colin Farrell) and Brian Gamble (Jeremy Renner) partners entered into the bank.

Jim Street’s Navy SEAL background prepared him for any assignment the S.W.A.T. team faced; he is calm under stress and well trained in tactical maneuvers

With the outside robbers killed and only two remained inside the bank---the robbers panicked---one robber grabbed a woman and used her as a shield. Brian fired and accidentally hits the woman, then he killed the robber; while Jim killed the other one. The bank is secured for the other hostages to leave, while Jim comforts the woman who was shot by Brian until the EMT’s arrived.

Captain Fuller of California’s LAPD Metro Division (Larry Poindexter) demoted both Jim and Brian off the S.W.A.T.team and, sent them to work in the gun cage. Brian resigns after he told his captain off and tried to hit him. Fuller tried to get Jim to turn on Brian and promised him back on the team if he did. Jim would not do it.

Brian’s hot temper caused him to confront Jim about staying because he was leaving. Jim had not agreed with Brian about shooting the woman in the bank robbery.

They agreed to disagree, after being partners for five years--- Brian leaves after slamming Jim’s head into a mirror, and Jim goes to the gun cage with hope of a chance to return to the S.W.A.T. team in the near future.

The famous ‘Hondo’ aka Sergeant Daniel Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) is called in to help re-organize the S.W.A.T. team. Hondo’s experience is “Old School” and he does it with professionalism---and sometimes his way.

The Chief of Police wanted Hondo to put together a young team trained to get the job done---Hondo’s way. He needed to recruit three to fill the order of the five new trained S.W.A.T. members; he already had T.J. McCabe (Josh Charles) and Michael 'Boxer' Boxer (Brian Van Holt).

Hondo asked Jim to be his driver while he recruited. He recruited Deacon ‘DeKe’ Kay (LLCool J) and Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez). Then, he asked Jim to fill the last opening and he told Hondo that Fuller would never approve it.

Fuller did approve it and so Hondo's team is completed. Then, the action begins as a French Drug Lord Alex Montel (Olivier Martinez) came to America to kill his uncle. And, unfortunately for him was pulled over for a broken tail light and then arrested. The LAPD received information Montel was an international fugitive with warrants out for him in 12 countries.

Alex Montel is worth billions and shouts out to the crowd and news media he will give a 100 million dollars to anyone who gets him out of prison. The rest of the movie is filled with action and mayhem. The newly trained S.W.A.T. team is put to the test of keeping the fugitive in custody. Or, will he get away? Will the team members be put in jeopardy from greed for the promised 100 million?

Takers

The movie begins with five expert bank robbers that creates a skillful team which includes GordonJennings (Idris Elba), John Rahway (Paul Walker), A.J. (Hayden Christensen), and Jake (Michael Ealy), and Jess (Chris Brown) these men are very professional in their attire and manner

They all lead the good life, any luxury that want is theirs, women and more women. The team has just finished a bank job and has money to invest in whatever venture their little robbing heart’s desire.

After each job they always started to plan another one---however one of their former team members is released from prison--- known by the name of Ghost (Tip T.I. Harris). Ghost has his own agenda; one is getting even with Jake because he feels he stole his girlfriend away from him.
Ghost comes to them with a plan to rob two armored cars that will be carrying 20 million. But Jake does not feel comfortable about this plan because he feels he is being rushed. The team does not trust Ghost because being careful is their second nature after all these years.
Even though this team of men proved very professional in their area of expertise and never left any clues  behind that would lead the law to them---which is all well and good. But they did not count on a stubborn Los Angeles Detective Jack Welles (Matt Dillon). His job is very important to him and he is like a Bulldog with a bone---he never gives up.
This is an action packed movie with great actors and storylines.
