A Walk Among the Tombstones with Liam Neeson, Dan Stevens & Boyd Holbrook---Premiere is September 19th 2014

One's past can crawl into one's thoughts and stay like a bad dream that lingers during the day, both are difficult to shake.

This is what Matt Scudder (Liam Neeson) deals with in reference to his past as a former NYPD cop.
It was Matt’s day off and he was enjoying free drinks in a local bar reading his newspaper in a back booth hidden from view by anyone entering the bar.

Matt was minding his own business reading his paper when several men came in to rob the bar; and they fired shots at the bartender. In his pursuit of the robbers---he shot the third robber in the leg and the bullet kept traveling until it stopped in the body of an innocent citizen causing death instantly.

Now Matt makes his living as an unlicensed Private Detective. He does jobs for people who give him gifts of money.

He was not especially looking for another job at the time he was requested by Kheran Khoury (Dan Stevens) a drug dealer to please come see him.

Kheran Khoury's wife was murdered by kidnappers who received the ransom money, but murdered Mrs. Khoury anyway, and then cut her up in little pieces. Kheran wants Matt to find them so he can do the same to them as they did his wife.

Matt did was not really interested in this job until Kheran played the video where both men were raping his wife. The video got to Matt---now he was furious about a helpless woman being raped and then sending the tape to her husband. Kheran and his brother (Boyd Holbrook) wanted to help Matt search for the killers.

He knew from experience the killers had done this before and would do it again. They were going where the money was and that was the drug traffickers.

Now, action, mayhem and gun fire echoed  through the backstreets from Matt’s support group as they searched the where the lowly scum of the earth frequent.

Matt forgets about himself for a brooding while and goes after the killers before they kill again.

This movie will premiere on September 19th the third Friday of September---so mark your calendars for another of Liam Neeson action movies.

The November Man with Pierce Brosnan, Eliza Taylor & Olga Kurylenko

Peter Devereaux (Pierce Brosnan) deserved a peaceful retirement after working for the CIA as an operative for many years.

His skills were exceptional and synonymous only with his apprentice training of many pupils.

Anyone lucky enough to be his pupil always had the advantage over other spies and operatives. So with deep thought and consideration the CIA paid Peter a visit and requested his services back into the CIA Agency immediately.

One little detail the CIA neglected to tell him----which was one of his training lessons---know your nemeses when you start after the same target.

Peter taught everything to his pupils to protect them in this business of spying. And, when he found out his nemesis was his former protégé David Manson (Luke Bracey) and now his rival---Peter was prepared for the challenge.

What happens when the well experienced older operative’s opponent is his younger self; who was energized, with super-fast reflexes, and knew the answer---while his rival was thinking of the question? The agility of Peter Devereaux proved still intact and well-oiled.

Now two human cannons would be firing at each other as they start their assignment, which involves top officials of the CIA and a Russian who is aspiring to be president.

Will Peter save Alice Fournier (Olga Kurylenko) from harm? Will Sarah (Eliza Taylor) be an ally for

Peter or David? We will see all our answers when the movie premieres August 27, 2014. I cannot wait to see Pierce Brosnan in action once again----it has been too long.

S.W.A.T. with L.L. Cool J, Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell & Michelle Rodriguez

The S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons And Tactics) team is sent to The Valley Trust Bank where shots were fired; they encountered a robbery gone badly with hostages inside.

And, an ongoing gun battle in front of the bank with the robbers positioned by the get-away car. S.W.A.T. members are placed on top of the building to enter from the ceiling. Jim Street (Colin Farrell) and Brian Gamble (Jeremy Renner) partners entered into the bank.

Jim Street’s Navy SEAL background prepared him for any assignment the S.W.A.T. team faced; he is calm under stress and well trained in tactical maneuvers

With the outside robbers killed and only two remained inside the bank---the robbers panicked---one robber grabbed a woman and used her as a shield. Brian fired and accidentally hits the woman, then he killed the robber; while Jim killed the other one. The bank is secured for the other hostages to leave, while Jim comforts the woman who was shot by Brian until the EMT’s arrived.

Captain Fuller of California’s LAPD Metro Division (Larry Poindexter) demoted both Jim and Brian off the S.W.A.T.team and, sent them to work in the gun cage. Brian resigns after he told his captain off and tried to hit him. Fuller tried to get Jim to turn on Brian and promised him back on the team if he did. Jim would not do it.

Brian’s hot temper caused him to confront Jim about staying because he was leaving. Jim had not agreed with Brian about shooting the woman in the bank robbery.

They agreed to disagree, after being partners for five years--- Brian leaves after slamming Jim’s head into a mirror, and Jim goes to the gun cage with hope of a chance to return to the S.W.A.T. team in the near future.

The famous ‘Hondo’ aka Sergeant Daniel Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) is called in to help re-organize the S.W.A.T. team. Hondo’s experience is “Old School” and he does it with professionalism---and sometimes his way.

The Chief of Police wanted Hondo to put together a young team trained to get the job done---Hondo’s way. He needed to recruit three to fill the order of the five new trained S.W.A.T. members; he already had T.J. McCabe (Josh Charles) and Michael 'Boxer' Boxer (Brian Van Holt).

Hondo asked Jim to be his driver while he recruited. He recruited Deacon ‘DeKe’ Kay (LLCool J) and Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez). Then, he asked Jim to fill the last opening and he told Hondo that Fuller would never approve it.

Fuller did approve it and so Hondo's team is completed. Then, the action begins as a French Drug Lord Alex Montel (Olivier Martinez) came to America to kill his uncle. And, unfortunately for him was pulled over for a broken tail light and then arrested. The LAPD received information Montel was an international fugitive with warrants out for him in 12 countries.

Alex Montel is worth billions and shouts out to the crowd and news media he will give a 100 million dollars to anyone who gets him out of prison. The rest of the movie is filled with action and mayhem. The newly trained S.W.A.T. team is put to the test of keeping the fugitive in custody. Or, will he get away? Will the team members be put in jeopardy from greed for the promised 100 million?
