Fred Blake/Giovanni Manzoni (Robert
De Niro) a Mafia Boss who was an important part of the mob has informed to the CIA
about the entire organization. Therefore---Fred and his wife Maggie (Michelle
Pfeiffer) their son Warren (John D’Leo) and Daughter Belle (Dianna
Agron) are relocated to Normandy, France and are using the last name of
Blake in lieu of Manzoni.
Their CIA contact is Agent Stansfield (Tommy
Lee Jones) who tries to keep them safe with strict instructions to them---that is was necessary to live---a quiet existence. But poor Agent Stansfield ends
up relocating the Manzoni Family time and time again.
Why is this happening? Because they still
solved all their issues the “Family” way---and that means in violent loud commotions---nothing
is done by this family in a silent mode. With all their issues and trying to
fit in to a society of a normal family life style---this is a funny movie.
And of course with their uncivilized behavior---the
mob is hot on their trail---so this pushes Agent Stansfield to work constantly
in trying to keep them safe. The family is relocated time and time again---staying
just leaps ahead of the old cronies from the mob---who are sent as hit men to assassinate the Manzoni Family.
Agent Stansfield tries to drum it into
their heads to please live quietly so the neighbors cannot gossip and spread
the news where you are located. This is a sinisterly funny film and the acting
is great---of course. With Robert De Niro, Tommy Lee Jones and the beautiful
Michelle Pfeiffer no one would expect---anything but the best.
I am marking my calendar for September 13th
2013 for the premiere of “The Family.” I hope you will too.
Adam Cassidy (Liam Hemsworth) only wanted to make
it in the Hi-Tech world so he could take care of his father Francis Cassidy (Richard Dreyfuss) has worked for 32 years as a security guard in
New York City. But has nothing to show for it--- he became the average
American struggling along on his little retirement.
Adam spent years refining his technical
skills until he could make or copy anything technical to perfection. Now all he
needed was a break and he was hoping it would be soon.
When Adam finally got his big chance he
was thrilled, but the thrill soon became a chill and he found himself between
two of the world most powerful and greedy tech billionaires in the dangerous
business of corporate espionage.
Jack Goddard (Harrison Ford) and
Nicholas Wyatt (Gary Oldman) whom are vicious and hostile toward each other and
will stop at nothing to take the other one down.
It was Adams misfortune to be associate
with Nicholas Wyatt first because he blackmailed him into becoming a spy
stealing Hi-Tech trade secret in the Jack Goddard Corporation.
Of course there is a girl involved in
Adams life now---one he cares about---Emma Jennings (Amber Heard). He will at
all cost try to keep their relationship alive and ongoing.
Adam is trying to stay on good terms with
Nicholas Wyatt who is blackmailing him by using his sick father. And his
present employer Jack Goddard who he is stealing secrets from but is not aware
of it yet.
Suddenly when Adam thinks nothing else
bad could happen to him--- FBI Agent Billups (Josh Holloway) in charge
of criminal investigation approached Adam to make a deal. Agent Billups told
Adam that spying for Wyatt--- he could go to jail and stealing from Goddard
could get him killed.
The action begins in this drama-thriller as
both Goddard and Wyatt are after Adam now since he got even with them by using
his Hi-Tech skills---what he did I do not know but I am hoping for a good
ending. And I will wait for the movie to open in theaters in the USA on August
16th 2013.
Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) is called into a
high level meeting concerning the security of a prison; because he is the
number one expect in the world on mechanical security of prisons.
To reach this
level of knowledge he meticulously scrutinized each high security prison---obtaining
massive information in endurance abilities He became the world’s designer of
escape-proof prisons.
Little did Ray know he would find himself in a master escape-proof
prison he designed after he is framed and imprisoned. He does not know who put
him there---but he will find out and then it will be payback time.
In prison Ray makes a friend with Swan Rottmayer (Arnold
Schwarzenegger) an inmate who is curious about why Ray is there in the first
place. He tells Swan who he is and that someone wanted him there for reasons
unknown. Ray got his proof of that when the warden Willard Hobbs (Jim
Caviezel) told him he was paid a high price to keep him in prison.
This prison is a “Hell Hole” plus---what the inmates endure
is inhumane and unbelievable. But the time will come when all of this will be
dealt with---but the question is---will Ray and Swan still be alive to enjoy
the end of it all.
In order to escape they will need a diversion, an inside
man, outside person, and a computer expert. When in place the action will begin
when the prison break-out begins.
Mark your calendar for October 18, 2013 for action, thrills
because that is when the premiere in the USA. That will be a great day for
Arnold and Sly because for about 30 years they have tried to make their
schedules fit so they could make a movie together.
Driver (Dwayne Johnson) was sent to prison for ten years for
being involved with his brother in a bank heist. His brother (Matt Gerald) was
the only one in Driver’s crude upbringing who really loved him. His step-father
beat him and his mother (Annie Corley) never tried to intervene at any time.
Only his brother tried to protect him and showed him what brotherly love was
all about.
So when his brother’s driver for the bank job backed
out---Driver offered to drive for his brother. Although Driver was never in the
bank and never had a gun---he was still involved as the driver---making him an accessory.
Driver proved to be an excellent driver as he eluded the
police cars that chased them all over the city. So the good news is they got
away. The bad news is another gang decided to rob Driver’s brother’s gang of
the bank money.
Five men were involved---but only four broke into the house
and shot two of the gang then tied up driver and his brother. They demanded to
know where the money was---but the brother would not tell them. One of the guys
threatened to shoot the brother several times if they did not tell them where
the money was hidden.
Driver was afraid for his brother’s life---so he told them
where they hid the money. So everything was fine they found the money so Driver
thought they would leave. His brother kept telling Driver everything would be
alright.
After they found the money the big black guy with the
tattoos on his hands and arms grabbed Driver’s brother head and cut his throat.
Driver was screaming---as he watched his brother fall to the floor bleeding out
before his eyes---and he could not do anything. One of the men had a camera and
told Driver to smile---and that was when Driver looked into the camera and
said---I will hunt you down and kill every one of you.
The 5th
man a dirty cop (Billy Bob Thornton) who was the leader walked into the room
and pulled his gun and shot Driver in the head. Driver was left for dead---but
he had an Angel looking out for him that day. The surgeons saved his life---then
implanted a metal plate in his head to replace what was blown away by the
bullet. The bullet went through his head and out his cheek---leaving a nasty
scar.
Driver finally
got out of prison and he was on his way to avenge his brother’s death. He paid
a guy with contacts to make a list of the four men and to find out where his
girlfriend was so he could find them all.
Driver did
not realize the man in charge was the 5th man---a dirty cop---who
did not care who he hurt as long as he got his way.
Driver
hunted down each and every one of them---and while this was happening the dirty
cop hired a hit man to kill Driver. Driver was now the hunted by a professional
killer (Oliver Jackson Cohen) as he hunted for revenge---the killer hunted
Driver--- because he was paid to do so. The movie is filled with action, crime,
drama and is a thriller to say the least.
Paul Feig is a genius to bring together two of the best
comedic actresses in films today---Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy---to act
together in the new movie “The Heat.”
Sarah Ashburn (Sandra Bullock) is an anxious Special Agent
for the FBI. She wants everything to be carried out by the book in a neat and
orderly fashion. Her job is her only friend because the other agents in the
agency do not like her. She has been polished and molded for this job and does not understand the others attitude.
Her attitude is always serious and she does not bother to
make friends with anyone and that is fine with all the FBI Agents in her
office. They ignored her and her orders when she tried to give them. And she
just shakes her head and says---unbelievable.
Now the FBI Agency has sent Sarah to Boston to work with a
Boston Cop Shannon Mullins (Melissa McCarthy). This will be a meeting of the extreme--- because a polished neat-freak meets a cantankerous foul-mouth do it her way
cop.
Shannon talks to everyone with disrespect and even her
mother does not show good taste in her gestures to er daughter. So how could one expect
Shannon to be polished and neat?
They do have one thing in common---neither one has any
friends. So when these two start to work together it is hilarious. Their agencies
have teamed them up together to bring down a ruthless drug lord.
And since neither one has worked with a partner with will be
a big lesson for them both. And I cannot wait until June 28th to see
this movie.
Pop the popcorn because we will also be able to buy the DVD
and watch it anytime we want. This is the cherry on top for all movie lovers
like me.
Dominic Toretto nickname Dom (Vin
Diesel) and Brian O’Connor (Paul Walker) and their team’s last heist secured
their crew with 100 million--- each retired and settled across the globe.
Sadly--- they cannot return home because of their records and they know their lives are in
limbo. Although they are wealthy they cannot go home so they unhappy and feel incomplete.
In the meantime Hobbs (Dwayne
Johnson) has been on a mission of tracking a team of very dangerous and skilled
mercenary drivers. He has tracked them across 12 countries. He has been
unsuccessful in getting close enough to them to capture the team or at least
the brains of the outfit.
The mastermind is called Shaw (Luke
Evans) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguz) his merciless second in command. Everyone
thought Letty was dead---she was Dom's love.
The only way to put an end to
these mercenaries is to meet them on their level. In the street and run them
into the ground.
So Hobbs pays Dom a visit and
asked for his help and he shows him the picture he has as proof that Letty is alive and
well. Dom really does not know how to handle this information—he is
happy---hurt and confused.
So Dom calls his special team to
assemble in London to hear Hobbs out and then Don will tell him the team will only
do it for full pardons.
So the deal is set and the action
begins and the chase is on---nothing is held back it will be hit them hard and
fast before they can think. But I do not think it will be that easy. We will
see after the action starts.
During Prohibition Franklin County was known as the Moonshine
Capital of the World” well their world anyway. Franklin County Virginia is found
at the foothills of the Blue Ridge. It seems that making moonshine was one of
the best ways these mountain people had of making a good living. Growing corn
did not furnish much but making moonshine they called it “White Lightning” out
of the corn made a good living for mountain families.
This story is about a star--- the celebrity of Franklin
County in the year of 1931 a Virginian name Forrest Bondurant (Tom Hardy) and
his brothers Howard (Jason Clarke) and Jack (Shia Labeouf). These brothers had
a bootlegging business and a distillery. This was a well-run family business but
since it was not legal they did not pay any taxes and this rubbed the government
the wrong way.
And since millions of dollars were being made everyone
wanted in on the action---gangster from major cities wanted a piece of the pie.
And this is when the trouble started with the Bondurant Family; because a
crooked D.A. Mason Wardell (Tim Tolin) came into town bringing his ruthless
Special Deputy Charles Rakes (Guy Pearce). They demanded payoff and the
Bondurant Brothers were told their lives would be miserable if they did not toe-the-line.
Well I hope the D.A. and his crooked men were ready for all
Hell to break loose. It is a known fact that nobody tangles with the mountain
men and their businesses---legal or not.
This is an action movie about what is right and what should
be right. I say a smart person would leave these people alone to live how they
pleased. It would be a more harmonious affair as the crooks and gangster found
out.
The day started
out very pleasant for John Cale (Channing Tatum) and his daughter
Emily (Joey King) because they were going to spend the day together.
John is a
Capitol policeman and he is taking his daughter on a tour of the White House, and while
he is there he will be interviewed for a job with the Secret Service. His
aspiration has been to work for the Secret Service and to protect President
James Sawyer.
When he tells
Emily about his intentions---she is so proud of her dad---but it does not
matter to her if he is a Capitol policeman or working for the Secret
Service---but it seems to matter to her dad so she hopes he gets the job.
John goes into
the interview room leaving Emily outside waiting for him. He is interviewed by
Secret Service Agent (Maggie Gylenhaal) and she asked him
the average questions any HR Clerk would ---however---the clerk would be more
professional with interviewing an applicant. John answered the question
honestly and from his heart---as this was his dream to work here.
The she said, “You
barely maintained a C average in college.” With that said---which was very
unprofessional to me---Special Agent Todd is in the room and he snickered. The
whole interview was anything but professional.
So John tells Emily,
“I think I have a shot at it---you know how it is---they have to talk amongst
themselves.” But he knew he would not get what he aspired for---protecting
President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx).
So John and Emily
continued their tour of the White House. Suddenly---their tour is interrupted by
a powerfully armed troop of terrorist led by Stenz (Jason Clarke) to take
over the White House.
John is caught in the middle of it all
with his daughter---he fears for her and the President Sawyer. He is the only one who can help---so he escapes
from the terrorist and starts to look for the President.
Then all the actions from Hell broke loose
as he fights his way out with the President. President Sawyer can fight
also---when he has to. It opens in theaters June 28, 2013 in the USA
I cannot wait for this action packed
thriller with Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx these are two of my favorite
actors. My popcorn is ready---now bring on the film.
The Lone Wolf—J.J. McQuade (Chuck Norris) is one of
my favorite Chuck Norris movies. It is filled with drama, action, adventure and
love.
McQuade is a Texas Ranger who works alone and uses his own
uniquely practiced skills to bring criminals to justice. He can shoot straighter than most and he uses
his martial arts as second nature---he does not need to think---he just reacts.
He believes in justice and sometimes not by the rules of his badge---but he
gets the jobs done his way.
Don’t get in his way or harm his family because he will come
after anyone who does---and it will not be pleasant. He will not be forced into
a fight---nor, will be back down from one.
After handling a gang of horse thieves and bringing the
leader in---while saving a group of young Texas Rangers who were following the
orders of their leader who lead them into the hands of the gang.
McQuade almost missed his best friend Dakota’s (L.Q.
Jones) retirement speech but he makes it in time---dusty and nasty in all
his glory. He was talking to Dakota when the Captain walked up and asked him to
come to his office.
The reason the Captain wanted him there is to show him what
was written in the newspaper about McQuade being a lone wolf---always working
alone. The Captain introduce McQuade's new partner to him---Kayo (Robert
Beltran) one of the young rangers he saved this morning.
McQuade said no way kid and then he leaves without another
word. The Captain told Kayo to stay with him. So the fun begins of having a
partner while not acknowledging him.
Kayo goes to McQuade’s home which is an isolated dump---but
he likes it. His only pet is a lone wolf he befriended---probably because they
were so much alike. This is when Kayo meets the wolf that is guarding McQuade’s
house. Kayo runs inside the house as the screen door is unlocked and sees the
mess inside the house.
McQuade
meets Lola Richardson (Barbara Carrera) and they become
involved. The only issue there is a local criminal
Rawley Wilkes (David Carradine) is in love with her too. Lola's late husband was
Rawley’s partner who he killed for money and her love---and of course she does not know this---yet.
This is a very good movie and I hope you will enjoy the
videos and the review.
Unless you have lived in a cave---you know who Nora Roberts
is---she is one of my very favorite writers and I love her movies from her
books.
Today I will talk about one of her movies titled:Midnight Bayou (2009)
This one is a bit scary but it keeps your attention to the
very end---are you ready?
Declan Fitzpatrick (Jerry O’Connell) a Boston law student was
invited by his roommate in college and best friend Remy (ChrisLindsay)
to his hometown of New Orleans; during Mardis Gras of 2001.
This is exhilarating for Declan and a group of other young
college kids as they drove through the outskirts of New Orleans. Declan was
standing up in the convertible shouting and taking picture when suddenly a
woman dressed in an antiquated maid uniform of over 100 years ago---was
standing in the road of front of the fast oncoming car.
Declan shouted stop and the driver stopped---he jumped out
of the car looking around for the woman but she had vanished---nowhere to be
seen. Then through the dead vines and trees Declan saw the house a beautiful old
dilapidated Southern Mansion.
Remy told him it was called Manet Hall---and had bad
juju. But amazingly it was love at first sight for Declan---then and there he
wanted to buy it. The house moaned and groaned and his friend Remy and his
girlfriend Effie(CieraPayton) said
come on lets go or you will be walking to Boston.
Eight years later after he has been a practicing attorney
for years---Declan leaves Boston and buys Manet Hall from Odetta Simone (Faye
Dunaway). The improvements are magnificent bringing the place back from
dilapidation to becoming just what he wanted it to be. It was absolutely
beautiful when the interior of the mansion was refurbished.
While he and workers were moving his boxes into his new home
he has a beautiful visitor Lena Simone (Lauren Stamile) the granddaughter to
Odetta Simone. Lena’s grandmother told her about the new owner Delcan
Fitzpatrick. He was engaged to be married and broke it off two days before the
wedding and came to New Orleans to buy Manet Hall.
Odetta had bake cornbread and wanted her granddaughter to
take it to the new owner. Lena finally gave in and went to Manet Hall. Odetta
told Lena if my knees were not giving me trouble and I was 20 years younger---I
would go myself and you would not have a chance.
She and Delcan were instantly attracted to each other---but
why they did not know. The movie takes the main characters back 100 years to
the spirits which initially lived in Manet Hall. It shows how everyone is
connected to the past and if the mystery of Abigail Manet (Bianca Malinowski)
is not solved then the spirits who haunts Manet Hall will haunt it forever.
The Manet family is the mother Josephine Manet (Ashley
LeConte Campbell), the oldest son who married Abigail is Lucian Manet (Alan Ritchson)
and his evil no good brother is Julian Manet (Alejandro Rose-Garcia).
Lucian truly loved his wife and his brother loved her in his
own wicked way. The mother was always trying to get rid of Abigail because she
was once one of their maids and she did not think she was good enough for her
son.
I enjoyed this movie and I read the book also. The movie
made the book come to life for me and I am sure anyone who owns the DVD or buys
the movie will enjoy it for years.
I love all of Nora Roberts' movies and I have also reviewed
on this movie blog titled “Northern Light” and I have more to share with my
readers if you like this movie.
How brothers can despises each other? Nevertheless---Sam
Cleary (John Cena) and Leo Cleary (Ethan Embry) seen to. Maybe---later
we will find out why. And as far as their youngest brother Douglas (Boyd
Holbrook) ---neither one likes him, however neither one knows him. This
sounds like a dysfunctional family in a sea of dislike waves that washes upon
the family shore. They all share the same drunkard womanizing father, but they
all have different mothers.
The only shining light and saving grace in this triangle of
brotherly dislike is their sister Nina Cleary (Amy Smart). Who unfortunately
promised her father before his death she would bring all three brothers
together again. So she sends each one a letter notifying them of their father’s
death and there will be a reading of the will.
The youngest brother Douglas is getting out of prison. He
was sent there because he is a thief and is very good at his illegal
skill---however he did get caught and had to pay for his crime. He has never
met his half- sister, half-brothers or his father for that matter. His mother
left when he was a baby.
The middle son Leo Cleary is a bail bondsman who is in debt
up to his eyeballs. And Sam is a tough cop who has been suspended for his
roughness and unprofessionalism becoming a police office.
So Nina after ten years of not seeing each other now has all
the brothers together as she promised her father. She tried to explain to her
brothers that their father had changed over the years. Only Sam and Leo knew
him---and when they knew him he was a drunk all the time he was home, and Sam
was mainly the father to Nina and Leo---but he left when he was 17 years
old---he could not take anymore.
So the two children left behind Nina and Leo learned to take
care of each other. And this maybe one reason Leo hates Sam so much---we will
find out.
After the will is read each child will receive 3 million
dollars with the stipulation the brothers form a business and work together for
two years, and then they will get their money.
So this is where the fun beings as the three brothers go
after a one of Leo’s bail skippers for $250,000. Now the guy who skipped is
also a member of a gang who has kidnapped a Billionaire. So the race is on into
the back country on horseback with the help of a beautiful woman.
Will they get their man? Or will they be captured and held?
Are these brothers working well together or not? What happens when the
Billionaire is rescued? Will it be the brothers who do it?
The first Avengers Comic Book was published in 1963---which
any avid comic book collector knows. So for 49 years our Super Heroes have
lived in the printed and illustrated pages until 2012 when Marvel Studios
produced the film. During the time from 1963 until 2012 they only came alive and active in our dreams.
This is one of the most popular films today which is viewed
by a vast audience of 49 years of being fans of the “Super Heroes.” And even as
a female I admit to loving them also. So, from grandparents to grandchildren
this is a family film. That could be the reason Walt Disney is the distributor
of the Marvel Comic.
Marvel’s
Super Heroes are: Iron Man, Tony Stark (Robert Downy, Jr.), The Incredible
Hulk, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Thor, (Chris Hemsworth), Captain
America, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Hawkeye, Clint Barton
(Jeremy
Renner), and Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) are
the magnificent ones we all loved to watch.
The movie
begins when Asgardian Loki (Tom Hiddleston) bumps into the Other
(Alexis
Denisof) boss of the celestial people Chitauri. The Other makes a deal
with Loki if he will recover the controlling energy source Tesseract---then
Other will give Loki an army of Chitauri so he can conquer Earth. This is a very dangerous energy source
and it might be too much for our Super Heroes. We will have to wait and
see---but I think they will win in the end.
Nick Fury (Samuel
L. Jackson) director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Maria Hill (Cobi
Smulders) lieutenant Agent enter an isolated research building during a
test on the energy source Tesseract. The Tesseract suddenly galvanizes and a
portal opens which permits Loki to reach Earth. What will the Super Heroes do
now? Will Loki use his scepter to enslave anyone? Will a war begin? Can the
Heroes save New York from Loki?
I will watch
my DVD to review the ending of this great film. One of my favorites and I know
there are many fans out there who wants to know also.
Everyone---are you ready for a big dose of action with an
all-star cast from the “Cream of the Crop Actors”? Then this is the movie for
you.
Slevin Kelevra (Josh Hartnett) is invited by a friend---Nick
Fisher (Sam Jaeger) to come for a visit. However, he finds his friend
Nick is not home at the moment. So he makes himself at home by taking a long
shower to wash his troubled week of stress away.
His terrible week included being robbed---while he walked the
streets in an easy mode--- he enjoyed the window displays when he came to the
city. Slevin was minding his own business when suddenly he was hit in the face
and robbed.
Now he is tired, bruised, broke and worried about his absent
friend---this was not like Nick not to be here to make him feel welcomed.
He gets out of his leisurely shower feeling refreshed as
much a worried guy can be---when someone knocked on his friend’s apartment door.
He answered it with a towel wrapped around his waist---it is Lindsey (Lucy Liu)
the neighbor who is friendly, talkative and little nosy.
Lindsey wanted to know what happened to his face. So he
explained---and he hoped she would leave---but she stayed longer---because she
liked the view---of Slevin and his towel.
After Lindsey left Nick’s apartment---Slevin had two more
visitors. Two gangsters who worked for “The Boss” Elvis (Dorian Missick) and Sloe
(Mykelti
Williamson) told Slevin the Boss wanted to see him.
Slevin tells them---I am not who you think I am---I do not
live here.
Sloe told him---you look like the guy who lives here.
Slevin---asked them---You have never seen him---have you?
Still with a towel wrapped around his waist---Slevin ends up
stand in front of the Boss (Morgan Freeman) and tried to explain
this was a case of mistaken identity. He says to the Boss---I am not the guy
you want.
Slevin does not know at this point Nick owed both the Boss
and the Rabbi money. And if he knew while standing there in front of the
Boss--- his towel might fall off.
The Boss wanted him to kill the son of the Rabbi in revenge
for him murdering the Boss’ son. And as if this is not enough for Slevin to
worry about. Both powerful bosses--- the Boss and the Rabbi (Sir BenKingsley)
crime lords--- hired a professional hitman Mr. Goodkat (Bruce Willis); who is a heartless
killer.
And while Slevin is trying to just stay alive---from being
caught in the middle; he must feel like a very unlucky guy.
What will happen next? Will Slevin and Lindsey fall in love
in the middle of his identity crisis? Will his friend Nick finally show up?
Will Detective Brisowski (Stanley Tucci) continue to pressure
Slevin to help him get the two crime lords?
I really like this DVD because of the action and the fact it
might not be too far from fiction imitating life. What a great time we live
in---as we do not need to leave home for entertainment. Just put in a DVD and
pop some corn---for a lovely family night, girl’s night or special someone night
to watch a great movie.
Michael
Shaughnessy (Luke Goss) is a former CIA Operative who is on a quest to find
out who pushed him out of an airplane 3000 feet over the ocean. The one who
pushed him is the truth he seeks so intently--- he has gone into a killing rage
to find out fast because his memory is unraveling.
Could he find out he was
abducted by the one of his enemies he sent to prison? Or could it even be a
friend? He did not know at this point--- leaving him grateful for surviving the
fall from the plane---but still looking for answers. His memory was slowing
escaping his grip on reality and he had to hurry to find the truth before it
slips through his mind and is gone forever. Leaving the attempted murderer who
could be his nemeses or a false friend; free to try again.
When Michael
was a CIA Operative in the field he made many friends and enemies which could
be either one that wanted him dead. But he was not dead---he lived to retaliate
and wants to look his want-to-be killer in the eye. Not many men had the courage to
face him---only the ones who were 80% emotionally demented.
After
leaving the CIA Michael became a government contractor and crossed into an
unsafe North Mexican drug trafficking gang to find the person who tried to kill
him. What will he find there--- or has he bitten off more than his government
associates are willing to help him with--- this time.
His CIA
friend Dwight (Cole Hauser) might be the only one who has his back or not. He
has shaken so many bushes until the evil that hides under them is beginning to
surface. One of the worst is Santiago (Nestor Carbonell) who is very nervous
about being trailed, especially by Michael the crazed ex-CIA mad man. And we all know when a panther is cornered what will
happen.
Who will
Santiago take as a hostage? Will it be someone Michael Shaughnessy loves---will
he be the victor in the end? Or will Santiago with all his drug money wealth and his men
who will stop at nothing to satisfy their Boss.
