The premiere is September 18th
2015 in the USA. Sicario means assassin or hit-man; either term means a killer
without remorse. In the unsafe country of Mexico seeing someone killed, kidnapped
or missing has become so common than the good people live in
fear. The uncontrollable and
ungovernable border extending between Mexico and the United States has become
the focus of an elite government task force. The force is recruiting the cream
of the crop FBI agents to work for them; and this is how Kate Marcer (Emily
Blunt) began her job with them.
Her main duty she is to assist in
the escalating war against drugs coming into the United States across the
border. This task alone is beyond most men, even the ones who walked before her
and other agents; whose faded footprints died in the parched land of both
countries.
Kate works with the Task Force commanded
by a mysterious professional Non-American named Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro) who
leads them in searching for nameless drug lord. She quickly finds out the
playing field might have CIA agents in the mix and the risk factor rises in
lieu of their presence; rather than making it more secure. Her so call duties are
multiplying; in essence she now has to watch her back because she does not know
who to trust. She’s warned by Matt (Josh Brolin) that she saw things sheshould not have
seen; which puts her life at risk. Kate has found out she is not just a member
of the task force, but an enemy to so many; even her own people. Who can she
trust? Will Kate make it? Who has her back? Who wants to kill her? Is it Sicario? This movie will keep us on the edge
of our last nerve with its action, drama, crime as it boasts to all it is truly
a thriller. Mark your calendars in the USA
for September 18th premiere. Thanks for reading my movie review.
Covert Affairs: Watch Annie a CIA Action Agent--Click Link--http://hub.me/acRwk
A movie based on a true story of the
life of an American; Gary Webb, a Pulitzer Prize Winning Journalist whose
investigation of the men and the government responsible for the crack cocaine
epidemic that spread through our nation. This is his account of what happened
as much as a movie can depict a man’s search for the truth when he is no longer
alive; to verify how closely the movie is to the truth. Kill the Messenger adapted
from his book: Dark Alliance.
Gary Webb (Jeremy
Renner) an investigative reporter for the San Jose Mercury News searched
for the truth and found it. It begins with the CIA backing the Nicaraguan Contras;
allowing their smuggled cocaine into the United States then given to certain gangs that
processed and sold it as crack cocaine to the south central area streets of Los
Angeles in the 1980s. Then, the Contras received the profits for their fight
against reconstruction of their government in Nicaragua.
Allegations increased
that the US Government along with other agencies are responsible for the
epidemic of crack cocaine that explored through the black communities of our
nation.
Gary told
his friend Fred Weil (Michael Sheen) his story was a true
story that needed telling. And, Michael replied: Some stories are just too true
to tell. Michael also told him it was dangerous.
When asked by Ronnie Quail (Robert Patrick): You believe in conspiracy
theories Gary? Gary said I believe in conspiracy yes, there’s no theory about
it. Many were too afraid to believe his story because then people did not view
their opinions openly as they do today.
I will be happy when this movie premieres
on October 10th, 2014 I will be in line to see it. Always remember to research both sides of any story---because truth can sometimes read like fiction.
James Reese
(Jonathan
Rhys Meyers) is an ambitious young aide to the United States Ambassador
Bennington (Richard Durden) in France. James floats in a calm sea of dullness serving
him. However, James would rather be on an assignment with the job of his passion;
as a low rank secret agent for the CIA.
James is
hoping to get an assignment in the CIA of a higher-level so he can prove his
worth to the agency. And, just when he is enjoying being with his
girlfriend---he gets a call from the CIA telling him to pick up his partner
Charlie Wax (John Travolta) because he is being detained by French Customers at the
airport. Because Charlie does not want to turn over his cans of his favored energy
drink to them.
This was
James’ first test of the assignment and after Charlie Wax called the French
Airport Security Agents everything in the book and then some, he stood defiant against them, Yes, James was shocked by Charlie's loud mouth with foul words being spit out at anyone or anything that got in
this big bad CIA agents’ way. James slapped a Diplomatic Mail sticker on the
bag of energy drinks. This solved the issue since the drinks were now protected
from Customs.
James’ CIA
handler advised him to do what Charlie Wax told him because he was on a very important
assignment. Which James found out later it involved terrorist that were
responsible for the death of the niece of Secretary of Defense.
Charlie Wax
takes James on an action adventure of his assignment and one might describe it
as a high-level CIA tutorial where killing and bombing is a big part of the lesson.
This will be the beginning of James’ hard lesson on the facts of life as a CIA
Operative. Will James make it to the end? Will Charlie Wax and James become friends and contacts to help each other with any future assignments they will be given?
Only after seeing
the entire movie will one be able to answer all the questions one might want answers to; so buckle up this will be a ride to remember.
Somewhere in Mexico Col. Hannibal Smith (Liam Neeson) is
handcuffed to a chair by Mexican corrupted police officers who are taking turns
hitting him.
They soon get tired of beating him, they take his money and leave, but they send in the Bulldogs to have a free meal of Hannibal. Hannibal unlocks the
cuffs with the pin from his gun just in time to save himself from the dogs.
Then somewhere else in Mexico B.A. Baracus (Quinton
‘Rampage’ Jackson) is back to collect his girl---that is what he calls his
black van that he loves---from a garage owner who is keeping it.
Suddenly, a fight
breaks out and B.A. Baracus, who has huge arms with muscles rippling down to
his fingertips, makes a short and fast exit with his van after knocking
everyone out who fought with him.
He has tattoos on each hand. The left hand
has the word ‘Play’ tattooed on it and the right one has the word ‘Fool’; he
starts his fights with the play fist and ends up with the fool fist.
Still in Mexico is Lt. ‘Faceman ‘Face’ Peck ( Bradley Cooper) who is now being
invaded by more crooked and mean Mexicans who are holding his girlfriend and
has him trapped in five tries. They are beating him all the while Face is
laughing and asking them---is that your best shot? Face is trapped in the tires.
In the meantime Hannibal is trying to get to him by running
across the desert to save Face, when he sees a van moving fast in the direction of his friend. Hannibal stops the van and hijacks it by shooting B.A. Baracus in
the right arm. Hannibal tells him---I am not a thief but if I do not reach my
friend in time he dies. Hannibal and B.A. discovered they were both special
selected soldiers---Rangers---and proudly wear the same tattoo.
They arrive in time to save Face from being burned alive and
the four of them the three men and Face’s girlfriend ride off in B.A.’s
girl---the black van. They meet up with the fourth special selected soldier in
the hospital who will sew-up the bullet wound on B.A.’s arm. His name is
Captain H.M. Murdock (Sharlto Copley) he will be the fourth member of the
A-Team.
Then the mission begins with the four American soldiers---The A-Team---who
are in Iraq waiting to be sent on a mission by Hannibal’s good friend General Morrison.
They are sent to
retrieve plates for printing 100 dollar bills, and, the thieves had already
printed a billion dollars. And, this is where the action commences, with
adventure fireworks, dealings, double dealings, double crossing, court
martialed, prison and prison breaks.
Fasten your seatbelt all you action fans because this is a
great action movie---I loved it from the beginning to the end. I would love to
see this A-Team do an A-Team II.
Note: I love Bradley Cooper in this movie he is funny.

It is never a smart move to double-cross an elite United
States Special Forces Unit. These guys were sent to the Bolivian Jungle on a
mission to find and eliminate the enemy.
After the target was marked the unit became aware there were
a large group of children they had to save and since their contact in the USA
would not call off the attack. The unit of five guys, Clay (Jeffrey
Dean Morgan) who was the leader, Jensen ( Chris Evans), Roque (Idris
Elba), Pooch (Columbus Short) and Cougar (Oscar Jaenada).
When the team realized the children would be killed if they
did not go in and save them---and they had only eight (8) minutes to do before
the missile hit its target.
The five men rush down to the jungle compound killing many
of enemy before reaching the children. Finally they manage to rescue the children
using an old school bus to save them.
After walking through
the jungle with the group of children---they meet their contact helicopter and
while helping the children on board they were informed---only enough room for
the children. Clay said we will stay---so the helicopter rose in the air while
the children waved bye to their heroes.
As the five men watched the helicopter rise over the trees
to leave they heard a funny noise in the sky and looked up just in time to see
a missile blow the helicopter up with all the children aboard.
The men ran to the wreckage knowing in their hearts what
they would find---only burnt metal and fire still burning. Clays saw the little
Teddy Bear one of the children was holding---burning on the ground.
As their eyes could not leave the burning twisted metal---Clay said that was supposed to be us---and
they all knew at that moment they were dead to the USA that sent them to
complete the mission and to their families.
Clay threw his dog tags into the burning wreck and each man
followed suit. They were no longer Special Forces---now they were just men
living in jungle looking for a way to revenge their own betrayal. And they knew
the name of the name who did it---Max. But they did not know what he looked
like.
Clay was approached by a beautiful woman with her own agenda
named Aisha (Zoe Saldana) she told them she would get them home if they
helped her to eliminate the heavily guarded Max. So the action begins after
they reach Miami and plans are made.
This is a very good action movie with a good plot carried
out with extra good actors as you will find out for yourselves.
