Kate Abbott's (Milla Jovoich) new job in the US
Embassy is to prevent terrorist attacks in the United States. This is the
reason she’s located in the United Kingdom for a better feed from around the
world; preventing terrorist reaching the United States.
She is good at her job and when she tried to block a
terrorist attack on New York the leaders of the group hired the world’s top
assassin; the Watchmaker (Pierce Brosnan) to kill her.
Now, Kate is on the run after proving her job skills by
zoning in on the target; and the leaders of the terrorist group is framing her
for criminal act. So, it seems everyone is trying to kill her.
Sam (Dylan McDermott) worked with Kate
and believes in her, but he is receiving pressure from his superiors to go
after her as well. Now, Kate only has her survivor skills to keep her safe, but
will they be enough for her to save herself.
She cannot trust anyone as it’s apparent they want her
dead. Why? Maybe Kate uncovered the heart of the terrorist operation in the
United Kingdom, or the US Embassy. It’s someone who’s trusted who is a cold-
blooded killer.

This is an action movie I cannot wait to see and when you view the
trailer I am sure you will agree. This movie is a reboot from the video game
that is very popular around the world..
This movie begins with Agent 47 (Rupert Friend) who
has a bar code on the back of his head with the numbers 640508 040147; and he
only answers to 47, which are the last two numbers tattooed on his head. When
someone asked for his name he says 47.
47 is the creation involving decades of research
including 46 *genetically engineered clones before him. He is a top assassin
with unique quickness, power, endurance and intelligence. And, created by ‘The
Agent Program’ with the scientist in charge---who is responsible for Agent
47--- played by(CiaránHinds).
Agent 47 works for a covert organization; ‘The International
Contracts Agency’--- that controls assassinations of prestigious targets.
47 must complete two tasks: first find his creator’s daughter,
Katie Van Dees (Hannah Ware) because she can help him to
eliminate the influential and illegal enemies that are trying to build an Army
of creations like 47 with her information.
Will 47 feel emotions about Katie as they work together? Is
Katie listening to John Smith (Zachary Quinto) that Agent 47 is
the key to find her father? Does John Smith have an ulterior-motive? Does 47 or
John Smith really cares about Katie’s feelings?
Note:Paul Walker was
committed to play Agent 47, but sadly we lost him in 2013. Then Rupert Friend
acquired the role of 47, and from the trailer I’ve seen---he is great as Agent
47.

What happens when
a fire-breathing dragon is attacked? It makes ashes of its enemies; and
all the fires of Hell cannot compete with the retribution coming their way.
John Wick (Keanu
Reeves) retired from his profession as a hired assassin to enjoy a
normal life with his wife (Bridget Moynahan) until she became
terminally ill. John's heart ache became unbearable; his precious wife would soon
be gone. His wife gave him a beagle puppy before she died because she wanted
him to take care of something living. He would think about the puppy, play with
the puppy and not be sad after she was gone.
When she died his
world spun out of control, only the sweet little gift of love his wife gave
him; a puppy saved him. John had something he had to feed and take care of
during the night and day. He worked on his 1969 Ford Mustang, a super-fast
power car and he never went anywhere without his puppy. He enjoyed his fast car
and puppy, but he stayed close to home where he still grieved for his dead
wife, but the puppy helped his bruised heart as time passed.
John Wick's Paybacks are Final
One day while
John was filling his gas tank at the station; two guys inquired about buying
his car. John told them it was not for sale. Later the two guys broke into John’s
home beat him senseless, killed his puppy and stole his car.
That was the biggest
mistake of their criminal lives because John went after them for killing the
puppy and stealing his car. And, many would pay for this unthinkable evil act
against a man and his pet.
New York City
would witness the revenge of a man who feared no living being and will kill the
killers who killed a helpless puppy; they took everything from him.
John’s payback
became complicated because one of the goons Losef Tarasov (Alfie Allen) was the son of
Viggo Tarasov (Michael Nyqvist) a New York City Crime Boss.
Viggo warned his
son: It is who you did this to not what you did. And, of course the son Losef
with his gangster I.Q. stated he was not afraid of John Wick. Little did he
know of what was coming his way; a retribution that would make him want to
crawl into Hell with Satan opening the door for him. John Wick did not show mercy
or forgiveness; he let his gun speak for him.
(Willem Dafoe)
received a contract on John from Viggo Tarasov. And, Marcus’orders are to use
everyone to go after John Wick.
This is a movie I
want to see because I love action movies and I will be in line on October 24th
for my ticket---if God is willing and the creek don’t rise---I’ll be there to
see one of my favorite actors Keanu Reeves.
Omar Kaiser (Bruce
Willis) lived with memories and the dream of one day revenging the
murder of his wife. She had been his world---the person he loved the most--- on
this earth. And his worst enemy Paul aka The Prince (Jason Patric) was the one
he blamed for her death.
Its been years
since he had given up his career as a crime boss because he probably did not have the
heart for it after he lost his wife. But he had never given up the vision of avenging
her death. He knew his precious wife would want him to forgive, but he couldn’t---only
God forgives.
After keeping a low-profile
for many years Paul surfaced. And when he did Omar knew immediately and was
ready for his revenge.
Paul had retired
from the life of crime as a Las Vegas crime boss. He lived quietly as a single
parent who spent his time raising his daughter.
When Omar became
aware Paul had a daughter---he knew how to get his revenge. Omar kidnapped his
daughter Beth (Gia Mantegna) who knew nothing about her father past life of
crime. Omar had kidnapped an innocent girl---only a vengeful evil person could
do this wicked deed.
Paul teamed up
with his best friend Sam (John Cusack) then he returned to the
world of crime to get support to rescue his daughter. He knew killing Omar
should be his duty and his alone. The race began when two old rivals begin to
fight with no holds barred---the smart ones cleared the way and ran for cover.
This movie “The
Prince” will open on August 22, 2014 and all Bruce Willis fans will be waiting
for a front row seat. I know I shall because I love all his action movies---he
is the “King of Action.”
Alexander Coates (Steven Seagal) is the king of crime as he
sits on his throne over-seeing his territory given to him as his birthright.
However, deep in his thoughts is a desire to get out of the business. Although
he has worked hard for his criminal kingdom and all its monetary gains---he wants
more, and maybe that more is a normal life with a family.
But it does not matter what he wishes for at the moment because
there’s an issue to handle that takes its place. Alexander sends for Roman Hurst
( Bren Foster) his assassin apprentice who’s trained to function and complete
assignments given to him. Roman is as skilled in martial arts as Alexander and
proves it by his actions.
Alexander
cares for Roman who might be the closest to a good friend he has, but he has trained
everyone in employment---that each are responsible for their actions.
If they do something wrong they accept their punishment. So, when he sends
Roman into a prison to assassinate a prisoner he expects the job completed
without complications.
Roman fights
his way into the prison using all his skills and then some; and, finally finds
the mark and kills him. What appeared as a simple assignment to Alexander is a
case of mistaken identity for Roman. So, Alexander being the tough dogmatic
king of his empire feels that Roman has embarrassed him. Therefore, Roman will suffer
the consequences, and since he is the brave silent type he is ready to do so.
Alexander gives Roman over to gangsters for his punishment with a heavy heart maybe. Or--- is he a cruel demented criminal without one? Roman is hurt really bad as they smashed his
hands so he cannot use a gun or his skills to defend himself. He hides to heal while he suffers silently in his
dark mood. He stays in a room over a business owned and operated by Jimmy
Peanuts (Danny Trejo) and, finally Jimmy helps his hands heal. Jimmy is as mean and dangerous as any criminal and will fight for the ones close to his heart.
When the Ice
Man (Ving Rhames) hits town and starts to take over Alexander’s kingdom the fireworks begin,
and mayhem and chaos become a normal day. The Ice Man is not afraid of Mr.
Alexander as he calls him. However, it is never wise to underestimate a
seasoned crime lord. And, this is when Alexander jumps into the mix and shows
the Ice Man why he is king of his empire.
I cannot
wait to get this DVD and it comes out December 17th 2013. Steven
Seagal has been one of my favorite action actors for many years. And, like my
chosen white wine---he just gets better and better.
Dr. Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) a biochemist with his
wife Elizabeth Harris (January Jones) traveled to Berlin
for a conference to hear about the discovery in research by Professor Leo Bressler
(Sebastian Koch). Prince Shada (Mido Hamada) from Arabia funded the
research so he would be there as an honored guest.
When they
arrive at the hotel Dr. Harris discovers he left his brief case at the airport,
so he hops into another taxi and is on his way to retrieve it. While his wife
checks on their reservations.
Suddenly, Dr. Harris’ taxi is in an accident and
the taxi goes over the bridge into the icy water below. The taxi driver Gina (Diane
Kruger) pulls the unconscious Martin Harris out of the car and swam
with him to the shore. Then the Taxi
driver Gina hurried away before the police arrived. She had something to hide,
evidently.
Martin
Harris remained in a coma four days and woke up in the hospital on the fourth
day. He could not remember what happened and without identification could not
even prove he was Dr. Martin Harris.
He’s understandably confused, but
remembers being married and dread fills his mind that his wife cannot find him.
His memory loss caused him and his doctor much concern.
In a burst
of energy he leaves the hospital without the doctor’s consent. He is off to
find his wife and when he locates her, she denies knowing him. Confused but
adamant that he is her husband and does not understand what is happening.
Then
a man steps up with identification and says he is Dr. Martin Harris. (He’s not
the only one confused now, and lost in a maze of denials and chaotic web of
deceit, I am with him.)
Finally, the
hotel puts him in a cab to take him back to the hospital, but he gets out and
goes back to the hotel in time to see his wife having dinner with the other man
who claims he is Dr. Martin Harris. They are very lovable to each other, which
is more baffling.
He noticed a
black van was following him, and ignores it as he stays on track to prove who he
is. He goes to Professor Bressler and finds the imposture already there. When
the fake Dr. Martin Harris shows his I.D. to prove he’s the real one, there is
a photo of his wife sitting on the lap of the impersonator.
Then he fainted and
wakes up in the hospital again with the same man who followed him once before.
Who is now trying to kill him, but a nurse comes in the room and confronts him
about being with her patient. Then the assassin breaks her neck, and goes into
another room to hide another body. Martin manages to get her scissors and cut
his restrains and gets away. He Didn't Forget Everything or Maybe He Did Not Remember it Correctly
Why are
these assassins after him? He cannot imagine anything since he has gaps in him
memory still.
This movie is an action, mystery and thriller all rolled into a
ball of entertainment that last for 113 minutes of the edge of your seat
watching. If you missed this movie buy a DVD and entertain your friends with a
movie night. They will thank you for it.
