Winter’s Tale (2014) ---Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe and Jessica Brown Findlay

A love that consumed the heart and mind of an Irish thief named Peter Lake (Colin Farrell) and haunted his very soul. Because his one love, soul mate Beverly Penn (Jessica Brown Findlay) was his only true love. Whom he met while robbing an empty house---or so he thought was empty---until he met Beverly---the beautiful lady still at home. He never experienced the feeling of love between a man and a woman before her.

It becomes known to him later that she is very ill; she was dying of consumption (mainly a disease of the lungs) and had only a short time to live her young life to its fullest. His love for her makes him preoccupied with justice---a renewed Peter. Beverly loved and protected Peter to the end of her earthly life.
Colin and Beverly

Love does not know a time and place when it should transpires as love needs no clock to tick the time of it appearance. But when it does arrive--- all other issues are off the table. Because real and true love waits for no one; and it takes no votes to confirm who approved or disapproved---it simply does not give a darn.

Peter Lake’s story begins at the turn of the century when his immigrant parents are not admitted to Ellis Island for reasons unknown to me at this time. He was found and adopted. And his adopted father (Matt Bomer) sent him to school in Manhattan to become a mechanic when he was old enough.

Soon without his consent he becomes a gang member of the ‘Short Tails’ and in time becomes an enemy of the leader Pearly Soames (Russell Crowe). Pearly wanted Peter killed and demanded that his gang of thugs do it. Peter always managed to stay one step ahead of the gang until one day his luck ran out---but he’s saved by a beautiful white horse named Athansor. He becomes Peter’s Guardian Angel.

This mystical love story began in 1916 and evolved to the present day which finds Peter not knowing who he is now. Because he and his Guardian Angel horse Athansor goes through clouds into another time; and time is lost for him. A human mind cannot always take all that the supernatural has to offer.

Then he returns to the modern day where he meets Virginia Gamely (Jennifer Connelly) and Abby (Rigley Sobo) a darling little girl. Virginia befriends Peter and begins to understand his time and presence here is not normal, but she is not sure what is happening. However she knows he is here for a reason---that much she is sure.

Love and destiny rose above the coldest of winters in New York to keep lover’s hearts warm even though their life journey might be as short as it seems in this supernatural world of theirs.

This great love story will open on Valentine’s Day---February 14, 2014 for all the fans to enjoy. So mark your calendars for what I believe to be a love story your heart will long remember.

I want to know if Beverly and Peter are together for always and do they get another chance on earth to be happy and maybe have a family together. One can dream about it until the movie comes out and then we will know. Happy waiting to you all---until a “Winter’s Tale” Premieres on Valentine’s Day.

Divergent---Kate Winslet, Theo James and Shaliene Woodley (2014)

This is a Futuristic movie which depicts one Utopian Society created after years of war and trying to find a place in the world where people feel they belong to a stable society. Everyone needs to belong and feel safe and happy in life. This system replaced the old system of democracy.

So what started out as a livable society became a dogmatic one with a rebellion against it. A society where the people tested into five different groups--- that epitomizes a quality that is morally good. These groups or factions are divided into five different virtues to sustain civilization: The selfless is called Abnegation, the peaceful is Amity, the honest is Candor, the brave is Dauntless and the intelligent is Erudite.

In the beginning the initial groups instructed by the leader of the factions---Jeanine Matthews (Kate Winslet) stated the only way their society would survive if they chose their rightful place and the future belongs to the ones who know where they belong.

Every year all sixteen (16) year olds are given test to find out which group/faction they are best suited.
Then they either chose to stay with their family or go into the group/faction which the Aptitude Test
Results showed they are nest suited.

The society seemed to function rather smoothly although controlled, because each person has to serve their group/faction and when Bernice Tris Prior (Shaliene Woodley) became sixteen (16) years old ---then things changed.

Tris is born into the Abnegation faction because this is the faction/group her parents Andrew Prior (Tony Goldwyn) and Natalie Prior (Ashley Judd) chose for them. And when Tori (Maggie Q) tested Tris---Tori tells Tris she is a divergent. A divergent means different and does not fit into any one group, she tested for three different groups---therefore she is not pure and considered a divergent. Divergents are a threat to this society and it could be life threatening for the unlucky person.

Tris decided to choose the faction Dauntless (the brave) because she never felt like she belonged to her parents group. And when she goes to the Dauntless group she meets Four (Theo James) and her life changes.

Romance begins in a world of unstable circumstances with Four and Tris and will they save others as the rebellion against the cruel leader Jeanine Matthews.  She plans to capture all the Divergents to experiment on because they are resistant to her serum.

I cannot wait to see this movie and it comes out March 21, 2014---it’s like looking into a fiction future. Or will it become true sometime in the future?

Fire Down Below---Steven Seagal & Kris Kristofferson

Jack Taggart (Steven Seagal) is an EPA (Environmental Protection Agent) whose best friend another EPA Frank Elkins (John Diehl) murdered in Kentucky while on an assignment. The Kentucky State Police said it was an accident because his truck fell into the river. The EPA thought differently, and this is why Jack Taggart is on his way to where Frank secured the water sample that tested off the charts for a poisonous substance.

The last time Jack talked to Frank they planned to go hunting and fishing when he returned from Kentucky. But he never returned from Kentucky and neither did two FBI agents who met the same fate.

Frank Elkins went to Kentucky after the EPA received an anonymous letter from a small town in Kentucky named Jackson. The letter stated the water was contaminated with something that was killing the fish and making people so sick they died. And he also sent in his report that an abandoned coal mine shaft proved to be the dumping place for the toxic waste. And, the Hanner Coal Company was owned by a big business tycoon Orin Hanner, Sr. (Krist Kristofferson) who was using it to make millions while he killed the territory around it along with the people.

Orin Hanner, Sr. only cared for himself and the money he made. The people and the land around Jackson Kentucky meant nothing to him; only the millions of dollars he collected from big businesses to dispose of their chemical waste.

When Jack lands his plane--- he met his contact who is Preacher Bob Goodall (Levon Helm) and he takes Jack to his living quarters down from the church. Jack will be undercover as a carpenter while he collects evidence against Orin Hanner, Sr. to put him away for life.

Preacher Goodall gave Jack a list of people who needed work on their houses. On his first day of repairing a home the family had a sick boy who had a rash on his arm. Jack found this out after the sisters told him about their sick brother.

That night Sheriff Lloyd ( Ed Bruce) who is owned by the wealthy Orin Hanner, Sr. drove to the church with Orin Hanner, Jr. (Brad Hunt) who works for his father and is just as mean and crooked as he is. Orin, Sr. wanted to know who Jack was and what he was doing there. Sheriff Lloyd wanted to talk with Jack the new guy in town, but Orin, Jr. said no let the boys scare him first.

In essence the boys did not scare Jack when they put two rattlesnakes in his room, and they did not scare him off when they picked a fight by telling him to “Get Out.” But they ended up as the ones hurt, bleeding and bruised.

The longer he stayed in Jackson the more people will like him and maybe someone will trust him enough to share information. All he needed was more evidence and a witness who will point out the guilty ones in court.

Now, Jack has met Sarah Kellogg (Marg Helgenberger) who appears to live by herself with her bees. Her bees are her only income it seems as Jack witnessed her trading the honey she sold at the local grocery store for food.

They become friends and she helped him in the end and he helps her come out of her dark past which was not her fault. This is a movie with drama, action, adventure and thriller
sprinkled with a little romance.

I hope you enjoyed it.

A Smoky Mountain Christmas---Dolly Parton and Lee Majors

When Lorna Davis (Dolly Parton) a Country Western Singer becomes disenchanted with her life as a recording artist/songwriter she told her agent she needs to get away from it all.  And, her agent Ned (Rene Aberjonois) told Lorna he understood and she can leave for her vacation after 90 days.

Lorna walked away murmuring to herself no one understands. She is completely burnt-out from always recording, performing, writing songs and never resting. And, something is missing in her life and she needs to find out what.

Later that evening, an irritating paparazzi reporter named Harry (Dan Hedaya) climbed up to Lorna’s bedroom window and begged to be let in because of three guard dogs below him that would surely eat him alive. She let him in and call4d for her butler to throw him out.

Harry left alone a few minutes in her bedroom took pictures while Lorna summons her butler. And, one picture was directions to her friend Mary Lou’s grandparent’s mountain cabin. The cabin was not far from where Lorna grew up as a child and always visited her parents; until their death and now she has no one to come home to see.

So with her plans made---she packed and left for her Smoky Mountain vacation---and did not tell anyone where she was going. No one knew but her friend Mary Lou and Harry the grossly annoying paparazzi who followed her.

The next day Lorna is driving down the snowy mountain highway to her long awaited vacation cabin, when she is stopped by the Sheriff John Jensen (Bo Hopkins). Sheriff Jensen mainly stopped her to flirt with a new woman coming to town.

Finally, after admitting Lorna had not violated any laws with her driving the Sheriff regrettably let her go. However, the Sheriff’s flirting did not go unnoticed; because Jezebel (Anita Morris) the mountain witch who proclaimed him as her property---and no one else could have him. Jezebel told him she would put a spell on the blonde if she stayed too long in her area.

Lorna found out after the first night in the cabin that she shared it with seven children. The children found Lorna asleep in her bed and because she was so tired she did not awake until morning. They thought she was an Angel at first.

She was surprised the next morning by the children and suspected they were run-a-ways. But that did not stop her and the children from becoming a family unit before they realized it. Slowly, the empty void began to vanish as Lorna’s life started to mean something again.

Jezebel visited the cabin one night and put Lorna under a spell. And, lead her to the edge of a cliff. Mountain Dan (Lee Majors) saved Lorna from falling off into a mountain river many feet below.

Dan told Lorna about the Mountain Witch Jezebel and she admitted that her Granny wore charms to keep the evil spirits away. Dan showed Lorna his charms and said Jezebel was for real.

This is a great family movie and it has a wonderful ending that I will save for you to find out. Enjoy with your favorite popcorn and soda. May your Holidays be bright and merry.

Non-Stop---Liam Neeson & Julianne Moore in--- (February 28, 2014)

Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) hates everything about flying, the long irritating lines, the crowds, delays, cancellations, and bad airlines’ food.

He appeared in a bad mood on his drive to the airport to board a non-stop international service from New York to London. It is ironic he felt this way, because it is his job to fly.

Why? Bill is a Federal Air Marshal for the Federal Transportation Security Administration. He is a plain clothes-officer on airplanes and in the airports. And, it is his job to travel the airplanes to protect the citizens from criminals and their activity.

Bill is in great physical condition, with Marshal Art’s skills and is proficient in weapon usage and it is his job to recognize and capture dangerous individuals.

This service from New York to London history’s proved a smooth flight in the past---without a threat of a storm or strong turbulence. But today’s flight will yield a change for Bill and all who are on the non-stop flight.

Bill sits by a beautiful red-head named Jen Summers (Julianne Moore). Jen tries talking with Bill, but he makes it short and sweet. He is on duty and it’s not his job to listen politely to a nosy woman who might be lovely but he is not in the mood for lovely.

While everyone is asleep Bill gets a text on his secure line---that informed him if 150 million dollars is not transferred to the account number furnished a passenger will die---every twenty (20) minutes.

This message tells Bill someone has hacked his secure line, but how? He knows Wi-Fi secured and unsecured are easy for hackers, but not true with secure lines. Now his analytical mind goes back to Jen Summers, she was sitting close, but it’s not possible she did anything.

His attention goes to a passenger named Jack Hammond (Anson Mount) he had a feeling about him---so it is best to continued his investigation of everyone.

Bill informed the pilot and other key employees of the situation, and twenty (20) minutes later he finds a dead body---then all Hell opens up as he will stop at nothing to catch the criminal and save the passengers.

This movie has so many twists, turns, and surprises with thrills, action and fireworks it will keep everyone glued to their seats. As the hijacking is just the beginning of the death defying events that followed the passengers as they frantically try to stay alive in this unsolved mystery.

Tango and Cash (1989) Starring Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell

Narcotics Detective Ray Tango (Sylvester Stallone) is a very dark handsome, debonair man and wealthy man---ranking higher on the social level than a regular Beverly Hills Detective. When others are checking the sports status of their favorite team, Ray Tango is checking on the stock market and his investments.

Completely different from Narcotics Detective Gabriel Cash (Kurt Russell) who is also very good-looking, with sapphire-blue eyes and deep dimples; and, who thinks dressing well is wearing a clean shirt and jeans. He fits in with the Downtown Los Angeles division.

Tango and Cash are very popular and cannot endure each other; as each is proud of his known fame. And enjoyed being held in such esteem by many. They worked every day in their districts without running into each other, while both upset the Crime Lord Yves Perret (Jack Palance) as they searched and destroyed his drug operations.Yves Perret is livid because Tango and Cash reduced his income as they shut down more and more of his drug operations daily. So he concocts a plan to get them both out of his hair and business.

Tango and Cash received information of a big drug bust at a certain location one night, so they both showed up. And, of course they ran into each other as planned by Perret. Each man with his huge ego will try to outdo the other by being first on the scene. Little did they know it was a frame-up; and, a dead FBI agent waited for them wearing a wire.

Suddenly, they’re surrounded by FBI agents who finds Cash’s pistol on the floor; resulting in their arrested. Their trail was not long and the frame-up worked because the audio tape convicted them by an audio expert who verified the tape as authentic.

They plead no contest to a lesser charge for 18 months in a minimum-security prison. However, bad luck rode the bus with them as they arrived at a maximum-security prison where criminals they arrested in the past were serving time.

Tango’s only family was his beautiful sister Katherine ‘Kiki’ Tango (Teri Hatcher) who worked as a dancer in a club. Tango loved his sister very much and was overly protective of her. He constantly wanted to buy her things, and she wanted to get them on her own. Now, what do you think will happen when Cash meets Kiki?

This is a good movie and over the years I enjoyed my video; until my video player ate it. So I need to buy a DVD of Tango and Cash.

Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman---Jane Seymour & Joe Lando

This story begins in Boston, Massachusetts in 1833 and it focuses on a wealthy physician’s family. Dr. Quinn wanted a son to follow in his footsteps and he wanted to name him Michael; as he waited for the birth of his fifth child. He dreamed of his son's future as a doctor.

On February 15, 1833 the last child was born a girl; but that did not stop the doctor from naming his daughter Michaela Quinn (Jane Seymour). Michaela studied medicine, obtained her degree and worked with her father for seven years, until his death in 1867.

Michaela not only did she grieve her father's death, but her mentor and best friend. She felt so alone, and although she promised her father she would carry on his practice---none of his patients would come to her. Her mother was not understanding in this matter as she did not consider Michaela as a doctor and told her she was living in a fantasy.

So she answered an ad for a doctor in the Colorado Territory, she sent a telegram describing her experience and received a reply offering her the position. It was a new frontier, and Michaela wanted a new beginning.

This would be her place, a place where she as a doctor would be appreciated by her skills as a doctor. So she packs and hugs her mother bye and boards the train to the Wild West town of Colorado Springs to begin her own practice.

What she found in Colorado Spring was a new family when three children’s, Matthew (Chadd Allen) Colleen (Elika Flores and later by Jessica Bowman)and Brian (Shawn Toovy) mother died from a rattlesnake bite.

Michaela met Byron Sully (Joe Lando) and rented a house from the frontier man. Michaela known as Dr. Mike proved herself daily to the townspeople that she was a real doctor. It's backward thinking of so many people from that era; that only men could practice medicine and be a doctor. Dr. Mike proved them wrong, she became a friend to the Cheyenne and anyone who needed her help.

Her mother never approved of her youngest child being alone in the Wild West away from the family in Boston. Michaela gave it all up for her new life in Colorado Springs.

Sully and Dr. Mike's Wedding Day

This is a wonderful series for the family---filled with action, adventure and hard times in the Wild West. And I believe it should be in everyone’s movie library---it is that great. I loved this series.

Relax and let your mind go back in time---it is a great experience. I love all my DVD's and watch them when I want and that is the join of living now.

A Special Video a fan made for Michaela and Sully--enjoy it is beautiful.

Gerard Butler & Aaron Eckhart in---Olympus Has Fallen

It is snowing in Camp David and President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Echhart), the First Lady (Ashley Judd doing a cameo) and their son Connor (Finley Jacobsen) are all dressed in formal attire. Because they are ready to leave for a party at a Billionaire’s home. The president’s secret service guards are ready to lead and follow in their cars. The leader of President Asher’s guard is Mike Banning, he and the president are very close as friends as well as employee and boss. And the Asher’s son Connor loves Mike and follows him around like a shadow.

The snow and winds are strong as the five black SUV’s leave Camp David. Connor asked to ride with Mike and two other secret service guards. When the vehicles crossed over the bridge something large hit the lead SUV with a force so great it spun out-of-control, then went over the bridge making the other cars stop short and the President’s vehicle crashed the bridge railing was hanging half-way off the bridge.

Mike tried to get the President and the First Lady out while three other men were holding the back of the vehicle. The vehicle was so heavy they did their best to hold it steady and upright. Mike worked fast in getting the seatbelt cut off of the president, and then he would get the first lady’s---but luck was not on their side---this winter blizzard night. The men holding the vehicle screamed it is going as Mike pulled the president out---the car went over the ledge with the first lady and the two men up front. Mike was devastated he could not breathe or shout any orders---all he could do was look at Connor. One could tell a part of him died that night, because he loved the entire family and now one was gone and he blamed himself.

Eighteen months later Mike Banning has a desk job in the Treasury Department and he is bored to death with it. He still has issues that haunts his memory about that fatal night, and concerned about Connor and the President. And, this morning after a brief conversation with his wife Leah (Radha Mitchell) he apologized for not attending a July 4th Barbecue with her.

Mike meets Secret Service Director Lynn Jacobs (Angela Bassett) for coffee this morning on July 5th and some of his previous secret service agents stopped by their table to shake hands. After they departed Mike tells her---he wants back in and Director Lynn Jacobs said you know Mike everybody know you did the right things, no one blames you---it is just seeing you every day would remind the president of the tragedy. Connor misses his mom and he misses his buddy.

During the morning at work one could tell that Mike was thinking about Conner, the little boy he loved and taught him about every tunnel and hiding place in the White House. Conner learned fast and Mike filled his memory bank with every tidbit that could and might save his life one day.

His boring day continued until he heard the alarm call and looked out the his window to see smoke and an aircraft flying low and shooting at people in the streets and visitors to Washington DC. Then Mike Banning jumped into action and to help wherever he could.

This movie is an action, thriller and will keep your eyes glued to the screen. I just got my DVD from Amazon and I have watched it three (3) times already---it is just that good. I cannot tell everything or about everyone that was impressive in this review as it would go on forever.

Mike meets the enemy with Special Forces skills and a death-wish determination for the ones who has invaded his White House and the people he loves, the president and Connor. Olympus is the secret service code word for the White House.

I hope you enjoy the movie as much as I did ---and still do, because some of my favorite people are in it. To name a few: Morgan Freeman, Gerard Butler, Cole Hauser and Angela Bassett are some if my favorites. And, I was very impressed with Melissa Leo who played the role of Secretary of Defense Ruth McMillan.

Buy it and watch it when your heart desires---you will always find something new each you watch it.

Dolph Lundgren, Alex Karzis and Kata Dobo' in Detention (2003)

Sam Decker (Dolph Lundgren) wanted to help the children as a teacher at Hamilton High a public school where the system has forsaken the students who wanted to learn and always putting the worst in detention, who does not seem to care about much. Detention does not solve any issues and seems it’s the pit stop for the worst students who do not go by the rules of the school.

Probably the reason Sam has stayed this long is because his girlfriend Margo (Jennifer Baxter), a tall beautiful blue-eyed blond who takes his breath away--- works at the school also.
Sam secured a new job with good pay and turned in his resignation to the Hamilton High’s principal. But Sam does not get off that easily, because the principal gave him an extra duty with the after school students in detention.

After a few stolen minutes with his girlfriend Sam enters the detention class to find three boys and a pregnant girl. The rebels of the school system and it seems of life has given them everything but candy sweetness in life. It’s written on their faces the pain in their hearts that the teachers do not take time to notice.
Sam thought after his duties as a soldier, trained in combat who witnessed the worst in war. That he would spend the rest of his life helping and working with high school kids, teaching them and watching them learn. But as he looks at the students before him---he wonders if they wanted any better in life---surely they do.

While the four students are in detention, there is one student in a wheelchair studying in the library to get a scholarship for college. His attitude is not the best, but his intentions seem basically good.

The security guard makes the seventh person left in the closed-down school, with all the doors locked and all the lights are off except in detention, security office and the library.

On the other end of town the police are transporting a truck with 300 million of cocaine, and the mastermind plan of the brutal criminal Chester lamb (Alex Karzis) and girlfriend Gloria Waylan ( Kata Dobo') with his gang of killers are to take it. And, because Chester’s inside information from a crooked cop and a FBI agent they were successful.

Now, they have taken the cocaine to the Hamilton High Auto Shop to work on the two vehicles to transport their treasure.

However, there are seven little stumbling blocks in their great planning---the school is not empty because detention is not over, a student is in the library and the security guard. Now, the action begins.
The killers find out they are not alone and starts a war after the children and Sam.

Sam and the five children---together will fight against the killers. Who will win? A good action drama with a lot of thrills, this is another Dolph Lundgren good combative movie.

Montana Sky---Ashley Williams, Charlotte Ross & John Corbett

Jack Mercy was one of the wealthiest ranchers in Montana. And his funeral is waiting for his other two daughters to arrive so the preacher can begin. His daughter Willa Mercy (Ashley Williams) is the only daughter who has lived with her father and worked on the ranch. And, today is the first time all three half-sisters are meeting. His attorney, the sheriff, neighbors and employees of the ranch are standing in the graveyard; when the first daughter arrived.

Her name is Lilly Mercy (Laura Mennell) and she acts timid; as she’s escorted to the family graveyard by Adam Wolfchild ( Nathaniel Arcand) who is Willa’s half-brother. He and Willa had the same mother, but different fathers. Lilly and Adam become close as the story unfolds. Lilly divorced her abusive husband after six months of marriage. However, he reappears and starts trouble for Lilly and Adam.

Tess Mercy (Charlotte Ross) the second sister is a writer, she arrived from California dragging her fast paced life with her. And will return to Hollywood where she has her agent, her life and friends as soon as the funeral is over. She is a city girl and wants nothing to do with nowhere Montana.

Bess (Diane Ladd) is the housekeeper who keeps all the sisters and everyone else on the straight path of good manners and to treat everyone with kindness.

Nate Torrence (Aaron Pearl) who is the Sheriff of Monroe County is a hunk, who falls for Tess. Watching their relationship develop is fascinating and funny.

After the funeral the attorney read the will---and it stated that each of Jack Mercy’s daughters will  inherit 1/3 of the 24 Million Plus Dollar ranch, however, all three daughters are to live a full year on the ranch to legally inherit their part or it will all be donated to the Nature Conservatory---and they will only receive a $100.00 each.
To makes matter worse the attorney tells Willa that Ben McKintock (John Corbett) and he---will be overseers for the one year. Willa is upset over this news, but Ben is happy because he has feeling for Willa. Will Willa will return those feeling? Their relationship is as rocky as the mountains that surrounds Mercy Ranch.

Nora Roberts wrote the book ‘Montana Sky’ and now we are fortunate to see a movie based on her book.

Enjoy and I hope you get your own copy of this very good movie. I still have mine that I watch; the story is great and the scenery is beautiful, in this western, romance, thriller and happy ending movie.

Unknown---Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger and January Jones

Dr. Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) a biochemist with his wife Elizabeth Harris (January Jones) traveled to Berlin for a conference to hear about the discovery in research by Professor Leo Bressler (Sebastian Koch). Prince Shada (Mido Hamada) from Arabia funded the research so he would be there as an honored guest.

When they arrive at the hotel Dr. Harris discovers he left his brief case at the airport, so he hops into another taxi and is on his way to retrieve it. While his wife checks on their reservations.

Suddenly, Dr. Harris’ taxi is in an accident and the taxi goes over the bridge into the icy water below. The taxi driver Gina (Diane Kruger) pulls the unconscious Martin Harris out of the car and swam with him to the shore.  Then the Taxi driver Gina hurried away before the police arrived. She had something to hide, evidently.

Martin Harris remained in a coma four days and woke up in the hospital on the fourth day. He could not remember what happened and without identification could not even prove he was Dr. Martin Harris.

He’s understandably confused, but remembers being married and dread fills his mind that his wife cannot find him. His memory loss caused him and his doctor much concern.

In a burst of energy he leaves the hospital without the doctor’s consent. He is off to find his wife and when he locates her, she denies knowing him. Confused but adamant that he is her husband and does not understand what is happening.

Then a man steps up with identification and says he is Dr. Martin Harris. (He’s not the only one confused now, and lost in a maze of denials and chaotic web of deceit, I am with him.)

Finally, the hotel puts him in a cab to take him back to the hospital, but he gets out and goes back to the hotel in time to see his wife having dinner with the other man who claims he is Dr. Martin Harris. They are very lovable to each other, which is more baffling.

He noticed a black van was following him, and ignores it as he stays on track to prove who he is. He goes to Professor Bressler and finds the imposture already there. When the fake Dr. Martin Harris shows his I.D. to prove he’s the real one, there is a photo of his wife sitting on the lap of the impersonator.

Then he fainted and wakes up in the hospital again with the same man who followed him once before. Who is now trying to kill him, but a nurse comes in the room and confronts him about being with her patient. Then the assassin breaks her neck, and goes into another room to hide another body. Martin manages to get her scissors and cut his restrains and gets away.

He Didn't Forget Everything or Maybe He Did Not Remember it Correctly

Why are these assassins after him? He cannot imagine anything since he has gaps in him memory still.

This movie is an action, mystery and thriller all rolled into a ball of entertainment that last for 113 minutes of the edge of your seat watching. If you missed this movie buy a DVD and entertain your friends with a movie night. They will thank you for it.

The A-Team--Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper & Sharlto Copley

Somewhere in Mexico Col. Hannibal Smith (Liam Neeson) is handcuffed to a chair by Mexican corrupted police officers who are taking turns hitting him.

They soon get tired of beating him, they take his money and leave, but they send in the Bulldogs to have a free meal of Hannibal. Hannibal unlocks the cuffs with the pin from his gun just in time to save himself from the dogs.

Then somewhere else in Mexico B.A. Baracus (Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson) is back to collect his girl---that is what he calls his black van that he loves---from a garage owner who is keeping it.

Suddenly, a fight breaks out and B.A. Baracus, who has huge arms with muscles rippling down to his fingertips, makes a short and fast exit with his van after knocking everyone out who fought with him.

He has tattoos on each hand. The left hand has the word ‘Play’ tattooed on it and the right one has the word ‘Fool’; he starts his fights with the play fist and ends up with the fool fist.

Still in Mexico is Lt. ‘Faceman ‘Face’ Peck ( Bradley Cooper) who is now being invaded by more crooked and mean Mexicans who are holding his girlfriend and has him trapped in five tries. They are beating him all the while Face is laughing and asking them---is that your best shot?

Face is trapped in the tires.

In the meantime Hannibal is trying to get to him by running across the desert to save Face, when he sees a van moving fast in the direction of his friend. Hannibal stops the van and hijacks it by shooting B.A. Baracus in the right arm. Hannibal tells him---I am not a thief but if I do not reach my friend in time he dies. Hannibal and B.A. discovered they were both special selected soldiers---Rangers---and proudly wear the same tattoo.

They arrive in time to save Face from being burned alive and the four of them the three men and Face’s girlfriend ride off in B.A.’s girl---the black van. They meet up with the fourth special selected soldier in the hospital who will sew-up the bullet wound on B.A.’s arm. His name is Captain H.M. Murdock (Sharlto Copley) he will be the fourth member of the A-Team.

Then the mission begins with the four American soldiers---The A-Team---who are in Iraq waiting to be sent on a mission by Hannibal’s good friend General Morrison.

They are sent to retrieve plates for printing 100 dollar bills, and, the thieves had already printed a billion dollars. And, this is where the action commences, with adventure fireworks, dealings, double dealings, double crossing, court martialed, prison and prison breaks.

Fasten your seatbelt all you action fans because this is a great action movie---I loved it from the beginning to the end. I would love to see this A-Team do an A-Team II.

Note: I love Bradley Cooper in this movie he is funny.

The Ultimate Life Starring Logan Bartholomew & Peter Fonda

Jason Stevens (Logan Bartholomew) life was turned upside down because he was doing what his Grandfather Red Stevens (Drew Waters) left in his will for him to do.

Care for his Ultimate Gift, but his covetous extended-family was taking him to court over the will, which required Jason to manager  Red Stevens' Billion Dollar Foundation.

The woman of his dreams Alexia (Ali Hillis) left on prolonged trip to Haiti and, he had been so busy with the foundation and court proceeding until she was gone before he knew it.

His life was collapsing around him so he goes to see Ted Hamilton (Bill Cobbs). And, Ted asked Jason did he have any idea where the twelve gifts came from his grandfather taught him? So Hamilton shows Jason his Grandfather Red’s journal that he started when he was 15 years old.

Jason starts reading and is transferred back when Red began his rag to riches journey. And, how he struggled to get there and who he met along the way and the lessons he learned in life.

As Red shared word by word, page by page until it seemed they were on the journey together. It was a lesson in life he learned from his Grandfather Red’s words that touch the abyss of his heart and soul.

Red wrote how he met and worked for Jacob Early (Peter Fonda) who was successful and that was what he wanted to be in life---successful. And, the lessons he learned from him and others along the way to him becoming a Billionaire. And, how some important moments in life disappeared while he worked to become successful; will be lost forever.

Michael Landon, Jr. is the director of this movie and he also directed Logan Bartholomew in the Love Comes Softly Series of movies. Logan was only 19 years old when he first played Willie LaHaye. These movies are from novels written by Janette Oke. And, I have done reviews on some movies from the Love Comes Softly Series with Katherine Heigl and Dale Midkriff--- they are all great movies.

So once again Michael Landon, Jr. has directed another great movie---as all the others movies he has directed are some of my favorites that I watch over and over.

So do yourself a favor and check out the Love Comes Softly Series---you will be happy you did.
